The Mulching kit includes a mulching plug which blocks the entrance to the collection tunnel and special blades to increase mulching performance. It is recommended the mulching blades be installed by an authorised dealer.

Mulching your grass comes with many benefits, but only if you do so properly. You will firstly have less requirement for expensive lawn fertilisers as the recycled mulched grass will provide many of the nutrients your lawn requires in a natural process of decomposition. It has strong environmental and sustainability benefits.

In addition to environmental benefits it is also far less time consuming as mulching your grass is much faster due to the fact that you are not stopping every few passes to empty the grass clippings to either a compost heap, bin or trailer. The process of organic mulch settling onto the soil after cutting provides a heat shield to protect your soil from evaporation and can provide some protection from heat damage. The mulching process also has the effect of slowing grass growth, making for healthier grass plants and further reduced need for fertilisation.
